Today in my Disruptive Tech class we watched a documentary about AI and its implications.

It was very informative, I learned so many things about AI and how it is affecting the world. I think it’s very interesting all the stuff AI is affecting and how many people see it as a curse.
One example of this is how many people believe that AI will replace their jobs and ruin their lives. It is true that it will replace jobs but it will also create jobs, AI is not at a point where it can have common sense. This means it can’t replace jobs and without making new jobs however as time goes on more jobs will be replaced and soon it could be a problem. People just need to see ahead and implement some kind of countermeasure.

AI may not have common sense but it can still look through thousands of data files in seconds and log the results. This means AI has a scary potential, it could predict everything about you just by hearing your voice. AI could hear your voice analyze it and determine whether you are male, female, old, young, and more. Your voice is not the only thing they can use to predict who you are, AI can use your data trail (a data trail is a trail of user data that websites collect) to predict your next interests. This means that AI can guess what you will buy next before you even buy it.
